A/N: This is something I wrote 3, 4 years ago, posted under another account, but now I’m organizing things so I’ll be moving all of them here. Oh and I’m not a native speaker, and I have no beta. Any of the mistakes are mine and I’ll be glad if you point them out :)

Summary: I wondered about a story that was told in Sebastian M’s perspective, how would it be? What did he think about his first time meeting Ciel? And here it is, this is my first time writing from someone pov, so I hope it works.

To all you human being, this might be the strangest, most unbelievable story you have ever had even a rare chance to hear. The story itself is of the contract that I act as a loyal , humble butler by my master side. Well, I may hint you beforehand that I’m no ordinary butler in the 19th century. I’m a demon butler who made a contract with my master, the Earl of Phantomhive who served under the reign of queen Victoria.

Perhaps you might have heard of a world of demons that can live for hundred years, it is often known as or called “Hell”. Being a demon means all we can devour is a soul from one’s body – the darker the soul is the better it tastes. From long ago, I was a demon with great appetite, I made contract with numerous of people whom wishes are as low as their pathetic lives. A house, a girl’s virginity or corpses of their enemies - None of those is worth mentioning - even names are forgetable. And afterward, their souls are mine. For years,what I had been repeatedly doing were signing the contract, granting their wishes then calmly sucking their souls away. Until the point of boredom that led me to a humorous idea of having fun for myself which included stop having plain meals day after day to search for a true high-class. And thus, I became a butler, more precisely, as a “human” being named “Sebastian Michaelis”.

It was a night five years ago, the night when we made our contract. We encountered eachother in a very unpredictable evening – which happened days before the contract – when the sun had set, the time when beasts escape from the land of shadow and start hunting for their prey. I saw him as a kidnapped child whose parents - According to those who were at the ceremony had proudly bragged to eachother - are dead in a fire . The boy was shaking with barely any clothes left on his body, his eyes were filled with fear as he sat in the corner of a rusty old cage. As I could recall, it was an image of a kneeling figure of a worm on the ground.

Our second encounter was two months after our first. He was lying on the sacrifice table, his body was soaked with unknown blood, I knew for instant it was him who called me. His strong will for vengeance and the lost of faith for God had triggered my interest, and thus, I came.

After I got rid of the outsiders whom my “new master” had ordered me to, Ciel Phantomhive – the boy’s name – gazed at their corpses with his blue eyes, filled with disgust and hatred. Then, he looked at me and when I saw the reflection of myself in his sapphire blue eyes, my whole body immediately starved for his soul. However, I had to stop myself since the meal can only be ready if it was fully prepared with properly seasoned, a little bit of sour, spice or even bitter sweat taste.

So, I had been having thoughts of how to further manipulate the toy in my hands to isolate him from others making him believe that I am the only one he needs. After all, what I wanted was not his soul but the Earl of Phantomhive himself.
